Finance Manager Vacancy

Surrey FA are recruiting for a new Finance Manager to manage all financial operations.

Surrey FA requires a committed, enthusiastic and flexible individual to support the delivery of their strategy.

Finance Manager

Salary Scale: £35,000 - £40,000

The post holder will be required to manage all aspects of the financial operations of the Surrey FA as well as co-ordinating the identification of additional investment and charitable funding opportunities. The role will report the Chief Executive Officer and will line manage the Finance Assistant (part-time).

 

The successful individual will ideally have previous charities finance experience and knowledge of Xero accounting software. They should be comfortable with running the day to day financial operations of a small business/charity as well as be able to provide financial advice to the management team in relation to commercial and funding agreements, and act as a central repository for funding applications.

 

The Finance Manager will also take on the role of Company Secretary, be set an annual target to identify and secure new investment opportunities for the board and cost management for the organisation, which initially will be set at £20,000.

The position is full-time until 30th June 2021 (continuation subject to performance) and is based at Surrey FA’s Headquarters at Meadowbank Football Ground in Dorking, Surrey.
