Volunteers

Volunteers

Grassroots football in our county sees a team of dedicated and committed volunteers serving all areas of our beautiful game.

Whether you're coaching a team or taking on the role of a club secretary, the people in grassroots football are what make it such a thriving community and enjoyable experience. What's more, clubs around the county could always use an extra pair of hands, whether your skills lie in the technical aspects of the game itself or the day-to-day running of the club.

So why not look at what existing opportunities there are, and be one of the thousands of grassroots volunteers who are so valuable to making football happen week in, week out.

Safeguarding in Surrey

SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE’S RESPONSIBILITY

Whatever your involvement in football, you have a responsibility to make our game as safe and enjoyable as possible for everyone.

This is particularly true if your role as a volunteer involves working or being with children and young people under the age of 18.

Find out how The FA and the Surrey FA manages safeguarding nationally and locally. You’ll also find detailed information on the game’s safeguarding strategy, and how it applies to you.
