Referee Development Group

Unleash your full potential as a referee

The Surrey FA Development Group consists of Level 4, 5, 6 & 7 referees identified by the Surrey FA,
aged 30 or below, who referee Saturdays and midweek matches. To join the group, referees must have
the aspiration to obtain promotion to higher levels with the view of potentially turning professional.

Potential candidates are interviewed prior to joining the group to ensure we have a group of like-minded
referees. Such is the success of the group that many of the Level 3 referees, who have progressed on to the Football League and National League, still attend our group meetings, providing inspiration,
guidance and advice to those currently in the group due to the invaluable experience they can provide.
