Surrey FA is the governing body for grassroots football in Surrey, it was formed in 1882, became a limited company in 2001 and this year achieved charitable status. SCFA govern and support over 3,000 teams and approximately 38,500 players participating in affiliated football in the county. SCFA sanction and develop 30 leagues / competitions and support over 1,000 referees and 1,000 licensed coaches.

Surrey FA has 24 staff members, in addition to hosting a team of Skills Coaches. The Board consists of 11 voluntary Trustees supported by over 60 County Members. SCFA has made many changes to their governance structure to ensure the organisation is inclusive and there are opportunities for everyone to be involved.

This year for the first time the County are seeking applications for members of the Management Committee whose role it will be to regulate and manage all footballing matters, oversee the activities of the standing committees and propose any policy changes.
