Surrey FA 'Club And League Roadshow' Dates Announced
Surrey FA are excited to announce a series of ‘Club and League Roadshows’ which will offer support to clubs and leagues in the local area and provide practical guidance on the issues that are impacting you.
These free events will be hosted by County FA staff and provide attendees the chance to book onto specially designed workshops to make the event as relevant to each club or league and will also give you the chance to ask questions and have your say on football here in Surrey.
The venues and dates for the three roadshows are:
Monday 11th February at Croygas Sports Club – 48 Mollison Drive, Wallington, SM6 9BY.
Wednesday 27th February at Xcel Leisure Complex – Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, KT12 2JG.
Tuesday 5th March at Surrey Sports Park – Richard Meyjes Road, Guildford, GU2 7AD.
Each roadshow event will begin at 19:00 (open from 18:30 for networking) and finish at approximately 21:30. We will provide light refreshments on the night in addition.
Each roadshow event will have certain elements which will be consistent throughout including a presentation on the implementation of sin bins, time dedicated to networking and an introduction to The FA and Surrey FA strategies from your local Football Development Officer. The rest of the evening is decided by you!
Each attendee will have the choice of four bespoke workshops of which they will be required to book two. Each workshop will last 45 minutes and be led by someone with experience in the field. Workshops to select include:
Safeguarding/Raising Standards
Player Registration
Club & League Development
Facility Development

Who are the roadshows aimed at?
Anyone involved in the game is welcome to attend but please note that the workshops do have specific content which may be relevant only to certain members of a club or league.

Prize Draw
We shall be running a prize draw during each of the roadshow events. All those who sign up for a roadshow by 31st January will be automatically entered into a prize draw for a chance to win tickets to England's Euro 2020 qualifier versus Czech Republic. The other prizes which can be won from a draw on the night of the roadshow event will include a Specsavers voucher, club affiliation discounts, first aid kits and Nike footballs. We reserve the right to change the prizes ahead of the event.
