Focusing on mental health awareness supporting coaches and club volunteers.

Surrey FA are delighted to kick off the new season with a one-day course at Meadowbank Football Ground, focusing on mental health awareness supporting coaches and club volunteers.

This course is for people who want to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of mental health and sports coaching. It is aimed towards coaches, youth leaders, teachers and teaching assistants, and group leaders but would benefit anyone involved in grassroots football.

As a learner, what can I expect to take away?

1) Understanding of mental health
2) Recognising the importance of proactively protecting mental health of others
3) Tips and guidance on how to facilitate a community sports session

Cost: £75*

*The course is available at £25 to volunteers and coaches associated with an England accredited club within Surrey.

We are delighted to provide participants in attendance of this workshop with 3 accredited CPD hours (Coaches Level 1 to 3). Learners will also have access to post-course resources and certificate.
