The competition will pit all colleges that sign up against each other in a County-wide league, playing one fixture a month which is hosted in the evenings at a different participating college every four weeks.
Futsal is a much faster and more technical game than a typical match of 5-a-side, with many 11-a-side teams having adopted the game as a weekly indoor training session with winter approaching.
For those new to Futsal, the game is played with 5 players to a team on a 20x40m pitch with a size 4 ball which has less bounce than a normal football. Watch the video above to get a flavour of Futsal.
The College League will also act as a Talent ID League where The FA South East Regional Futsal Head Coach will be attending to offer advice and cast an eye over the array of talent on display, with the possibility of players attending the Centre of Excellence and even the England team.
The league will start in November and run through to May and costs £150 to join. In addition to the fixtures, college teams will also receive a free 2 hour coaching taster session, a coaching syllabus, a free place on the Beginners Guide to Futsal course and 5 Futsal balls.
