Surrey FA to extend Young Carers provision
Surrey FA are happy to announce two more Young Carers sessions will be running this December.
The Young Carer’s Programme, launched this summer, provides fun and free sessions to children aged 5-15 who currently or have previously had caring responsibilities.
Since the project's launch, we have delivered five successful bi-weekly sessions alongside a range of providers, including Chelsea Foundation, Gamcare, and Fulham Foundation.
The sessions vary in content but provide fun football and educational activities to the participants.
Details of the upcoming sessions:
Session One
- Date: Wednesday 6th December
- Venue: Meadowbank Football Ground, Mill Lane
- Time: 6-7:30pm
Session Two
- Date: Tuesday 19th December
- Venue: Meadowbank Football Ground, Mill Lane
- Time: 4:30-6pm
What you can expect on the day:
- · New participants receive water bottles
- · Football activities led by professional coaches
- · Multi-sport activities
- · Snacks
- · Prizes for our participants such as footballs, toys etc
