Surrey FA is looking to recruit a new Non-Executive Independent Finance Director to join the Board of Directors.

The post holder will act as an ambassador for Surrey FA and act as a custodian of the highest standards of financial integrity and governance. They will oversee all audit and control operations and be responsible for the preparation of timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly and annual basis, whilst being a sounding board for the CEO on financial matters.

Candidates should have proven experience as a Director of Finance or similar role, such as working as a CFO/Director of Finance and/or accountancy qualifications. They should possess in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices and have solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.

This is a voluntary role and requires a time commitment of approximately 2-3 days per month. The post requires a commitment to attend 6 Board Meetings a year, AGM and GM as well as FA and Surrey FA events including Annual Grassroots Awards and County Cup Finals as available. Relevant expenses will be paid in line with the current Surrey FA Expense Policy.
