Chair of the Board Vacancy
Surrey FA is seeking a new Chair of the Board of Directors to help us further develop football for all in Surrey.
As Chair, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Board of Directors and overseeing the affairs of the Association, ensuring that the Board meets its obligations and responsibilities, whilst providing strategic oversight and constructively challenging Surrey FA’s strategic plan.
The successful candidate should have experience as a Director, Trustee or member of a strategic committee, excellent meeting chairing skills, and strategic leadership and management skills.
This is a voluntary role and requires a time commitment of approximately 2-3 days per month. The post requires a commitment to attend 6 Board Meetings a year, AGM and GM as well as FA and Surrey FA events including Annual Grassroots Awards and County Cup Finals as available. Relevant expenses will be paid in line with the current Surrey FA Expense Policy.
