Independent Director for Women and Girls Vacancy

Join our Board of Trustees and help grow the Female Game

We are seeking a new Independent Director for Women and Girls to join our Board of Directors. 

The post holder will provide guidance and support to the Board and executive team to deliver the strategic direction for driving female participation, workforce, and volunteer leader roles across football in Surrey and on all aspects of the female game as needed. 

Candidates should have extensive knowledge and understanding of women and girls sport and/or football, the barriers to female participation and inclusion in sport, football, and business. Whilst having experience of working with females within sport. They should also possess strategic leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and monitor organisational strategy. 

This is a voluntary role and requires a time commitment of approximately 2-3 days per month. The post requires a commitment to attend 6 Board Meetings a year, AGM and GM as well as FA and Surrey FA events including Annual Grassroots Awards and County Cup Finals, as available. Relevant expenses will be paid in line with the current Surrey FA Expense Policy.
