Vacancy: Facilities Officer

Surrey FA are looking for a flexible and committed person to join our Facilities Team here at Meadowbank Football Ground.

Vacancy: Facilities Officer

Salary: £10 per hour

The post-holder will be responsible for providing support to the Facilities Department to ensure the effective running and support of Meadowbank Football Ground for the benefit of the community and Surrey FA programs.

The successful applicant will need to provide a high level of customer service and administrative support.

They will be responsible for:

  • ensuring the smooth running of all pitch and meeting room bookings
  • opening and closing of the facility
  • assisting and supervising customers in their use of the facility ensuring they abide by all rules and regulations
  • building and supporting working partnerships with existing and new clients
  • undertaking basic cleaning as necessary in order to maintain a high level of standards and cleanliness
  • maintaining high standards of professional behavior at all times
  • undertaking relevant training courses as requested by Surrey FA
  • any other tasks deemed necessary by the Facilities Manager

The post will be for a minimum of 12 hours worked across days, evenings and weekends on a shift rota pattern. There may be the potential for additional hours to be worked as overtime.

The successful applicant will need to have experience in an administration role, with knowledge of marketing and promotion. They should have good IT skills with an understanding of running and organising events and competitions. Excellent communication and organisation skills, experience of working in sport and leisure industry or of operating facilities, a passion for sport and physical activity and be self-motivated, committed and reliable.#
