Charity Game Confirmed For Meadowbank

Meadowbank set to host charity game for AFC Ewell player who suffered life-changing injuries in April.

Surrey FA are delighted to be hosting a charity match at Meadowbank Football Ground on 12th August between AFC Ewell and Merton Social.

The match is being run for AFC Ewell player Chris Keogh, who suffered a freak injury in a game against Merton Social back in April. Chris' injury led to him being told he would never walk again, and as such was paralysed from the chest down.

Chris' story has made national news, with famous names in football coming together to send messages of support for Chris. Watch Surrey FA's video below featuring an interview with his team mate Adam Williams, and a message from Chris himself ahead of the game.

The game is set for Sunday 12th August, with a 2pm kick-off. If it's your first planned visit to Meadowbank, please check here for a handy visitors guide.
