The Surrey County Football Association was formed in 1877 and today is proud to boast a membership of more than 1000 clubs.

At a meeting in Guildford on 16 March 1882 it was reorganised and voted to affiliate to the Football Association and at the same time a County Senior Cup competition. was introduced. The ten clubs present at the meeting were Clapham Rovers, Dorking, East Sheen, Esher, Farnham Guildford, Reigate Priory, St. Thomas's Hospital, Surbiton and Barnes.

Our mission statement is: "
Leading the development of grassroots football in Surrey ensuring participation and enjoyment of football by everyone."
