Women rec football

Female

Surrey FA are passionate about supporting clubs to provide equal access for women and girls in football.

We want to ensure that all women and girls have access to football as players, coaches, referees, and volunteers.

We have an ambition to provide over 5,000 women and girls access to playing opportunities across the county, as well as raising the profile of the amazing opportunities available off the field.

The Women & Girls hub on our website allows you to find content that will help you support women and girls of all ages, ability and experience levels to access the game through whichever pathway they choose.

Inspired by the #WEURO22?

During the summer of 2022 we launched our  #InspiredBy Action Plan and Award Scheme, to support clubs to grow and develop their women and girls provisions, inspired by the UEFA Women Euros 2022.

This initiative aims to use the buzz and excitement of the momentous tournament as a catalyst to enable sustainable growth of the Women’s and Girl’s game, by supporting clubs to increase engagement and participation across the board.
