Race Relations Workshop

Details on a workshop to be held at Meadowbank in October

Surrey FA and Danny Fenner, Coach Development Officer from The FA Grassroots Delivery Team, are holding our annual Race Relations Workshop on Thursday 19th October at Meadowbank Football Ground.

The workshop will take place during Black History Month, an occasion where we can acknowledge the contributions, achievements, and impact of Black people and individuals  from historically underrepresented ethnic communities.

The purpose of this workshop is to create a secure environment for courageous, honest conversations about race, as well as allow coaches to raise their understanding and awareness about the subject.

Listening and communicating are the first stages towards being a more effective organisation and individual. Learners who attend will be empowered to make a positive difference in grassroots football in Surrey.

Venue: Meadowbank Football Ground, Mill Lane, Dorking, RH4 1DX
Date: Thursday the 19th of October 2023
Time: 18:30-20:30
