Surrey FA is proud to support Play Safe

On the first weekend of October, we supported the national safeguarding campaign

Surrey FA joined the rest of the footballing community to support the FA national Play Safe campaign on September 30th.

The campaign, now in its third year, looks to raise awareness on the vital importance of safeguarding in our national game with NSPCC, the Premier League, EFL, Barclays Women's Super League and the Barclays Championship all taking part.

To promote the campaign, we distributed Play Safe armbands to Surrey clubs and leagues, as well as encouraging participation over the weekend, stretching from our partners, to the Referee Academy and more. The response has been fantastic and we would like to thank everyone for their continued commitment to supporting the initiative.

Following Play Safe, we are also supporting the NSPCC's Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport Week campaign, details of which can be found HERE

You can continue to play your part in supporting safeguarding initiatives by taking relevant courses through the FA or via helpful resources and advice on the NSPCC website.
