Independent Chair of Inclusion Advisory Group Vacancy

Surrey FA is seeking an individual who can lead and support an effective, constructive, and cohesive Inclusion Advisory Group

The Surrey FA Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG) is seeking a new Independent Chair. 

 

The Independent Chair of the IAG will lead and promote an effective, collaborative, and cohesive working group to assist other County FA personnel in planning, leading, and developing a strategic vision for inclusion in football across the county. 

 

The chosen candidate should have experience working with different communities, be able to meet outside normal business hours, have strong communication and planning skills, and be able to identify major themes and trends that may assist in promoting the game through inclusion and diversity initiatives.

 

Surrey FA IAG acts as the check and balance to Surrey FA’s equality, diversity and inclusion work. It comprises of a minimum of six members and a Chair, with a collective knowledge and experience of specific aspects of equality, diversity and inclusion such as race; gender equality; disability equality; mental health; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and faith communities.

 

The group meet at least quarterly and is an independent group that advises and reports to the main Surrey FA board.

Interview date: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview with the Selection Panel on the 7th of December 2023
