Surrey FA League Pledge

We are addressing increasing levels of Misconduct and Abusive Behaviour

Surrey FA is committed to working with all Youth & Adult leagues in the county to reduce the amount of misconduct within the game, making it more enjoyable for all those involved.

 

Unfortunately, there has been unacceptably high levels of misconduct and abusive behaviour by many participants across the county this season, and it's time for this to change. 

 

We have formed a pledge with various leagues to stamp this out and invite more leagues to join us.   

 

Additionally, we are launching an initiative from January 18th to address this problem and increase people's awareness of the consequences of their actions. The campaign will cover several examples of serious misconduct breaches, the subsequent repercussions and sanctions, and the significance of reporting these offences.  

 

The dedicated campaign will be in support of the FA's national campaign 'Enough is Enough', the focus of which, as duly stated by The FA, is “making it clear that action will be taken against those who ruin the game for others”.
