‘Ready, Set, Glow’ Football Festival Series: Part One
Surrey FA is excited to provide a new inclusive three-part festival series which will be held in exclusive glow-in-the-dark environments across Surrey, tailored for youth participants with additional needs.
Currently, there is a lack of individual offerings for neurodiverse individuals and those with invisible disabilities. Therefore, we are offering an exclusive environment to cater for sensory needs and inclusion, providing a unique opportunity like no other.
Our Ready, Set, Glow' festivals will be set in a dark sports hall, with the action taking place under the illumination of several Ultraviolet (UV) lights. The environment will then come to life with neon footballs, bibs and pitch lines allowing players to light up the room with their skills!
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to utilise a sensory pack throughout the festival, including items such as fidget toys, and emotional regulation resources. This will present an invaluable chance for those with additional needs to use sensory tools to regulate their emotions whilst playing football.
