Independent Non-Executive Director Legal Vacancy
Surrey FA are looking to recruit a Non-Executive Legal Director to join our Board of Trustees.
The Non-Executive Legal Director (Trustee) will act as an ambassador for Surrey FA and act as a custodian of the highest standards of legal integrity and governance and will work closely with the wider board to lead any relevant committees, ensuring that they are informed with relevant and timely information.
Candidates should have proven experience as a Legal Director or similar role, working as a Senior Development Lawyer at either Legal Director or Partner level and/or legal qualifications. They must also possess a positive attitude and be highly motivated.
This is a voluntary role and requires a time commitment of approximately 2-3 days per month. The post requires a commitment to attend 6 Board Meetings a year, AGM and GM as well as FA and Surrey FA events including Annual Grassroots Awards and County Cup Finals as available. Relevant expenses will be paid in line with the current Surrey FA Expense Policy.
