Football Development Assistant – Inclusion Vacancy

Surrey FA requires an enthusiastic individual to join our Football Development Team

We are seeking a motivated individual to support and grow recreational football throughout Surrey, with a particular inclusion focus. The role will support the delivery of the vision and objectives set within the Surrey FA Business Strategy. 

The Football Development Assistant – Inclusion will work alongside the EDI Manager to develop and increase recreational football opportunities across all Female, Male and Disability pathways, whilst supporting the growth of EDI programmes. They will work to sustain and increase participation through various initiatives and projects to ensure that we are offering opportunities for all. Their work will ensure the football community has routes into grassroots clubs from these programmes. The post holder will operate as a member of the Football Development department to implement the company's business strategy and operational plan to meet agreed KPIs.

The successful individual must have practical experience in sports or football development, including experience of working with underrepresented groups. They will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of working with volunteers with the ability to communicate effectively and in a manner appropriate to different audiences. They must also possess a “can do”, customer-centric approach towards the role.

Salary Scale: £20,000 - £25,000 based on experience 
Contract type: 12 month FTC
The position is full-time and is based at Surrey FA’s Headquarters at Meadowbank Football Ground in Dorking, Surrey.   

The role will report to the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Manager.
