Early in 2023, Surrey FA and THORPE PARK Resort announced a category partnership to support youth football in Surrey.  

Together, we developed a bespoke three-year partnership, with THORPE PARK Resort becoming Official Leisure Partner of Surrey FA.  

The agreement included the naming rights to 12 of our Surrey Youth County Cup competitions, with the finals hosted at Meadowbank Stadium, and discounted ticket access to the park for the Surrey FA network.  

In addition, Surrey FA have since supported onsite events such as schools’ week, one of the park's busiest periods, to engage visiting school children with football related activity and opportunities, while THORPE PARK Resort hosted Surrey FA’s Annual Grassroots Awards in July 2023. Their support enabled us to welcome a greater number of guests to come together, as the football family celebrated the incredible work of grassroots volunteers and deserving award winners.  

This partnership model has not only served as a foundation for future work, it has also helped greatly to build on the ever-expanding reach of Surrey football. 

Both Surrey FA and THORPE PARK Resort are extremely proud of what has been achieved in just a few short months of this new relationship and are looking forward to the next chapter.
