Surrey FA will be launching a campaign to tackle poor behaviour in football throughout the 23/24 season.
Unfortunately, due to unprecedented levels of negative behaviour in grassroots football, Surrey FA will take action with our soon to be announced ‘See It, Say It, Report It’ initiative, which will aim to reduce discipline incidents, retain both players and referees and improve the football experience in Surrey.
To support the campaign, we are now recruiting for our See It, Say It, Report It team!
See It, Say It, Report It
Surrey FA is currently on high alert as incidences of misconduct in Surrey have increased by 64% since Season 19/20, with the number of cautions and red cards continuing to grow. The See It, Say It, Report It team will attend football matches anonymously during the season to obtain first-hand knowledge of why bad behaviour occurs and to give help to prevent similar occurrences.
Job Summary:
● At the request of Surrey FA, the post holder will attend games anonymously during the season
● They will observe behaviour, document any wrongdoing, and fill out a dedicated match report for each game
● They will assist Surrey FA to combat misconduct and improve behaviours at grassroots level
