Race Relations Workshop

Race Relations Workshop

Details on a workshop to be held at Meadowbank in November

Surrey FA and Danny Fenner, Coach Development Officer from The FA Grassroots Delivery Team, are holding a Race Relations Workshop on Monday 28th November at Meadowbank Football Ground.

The workshop follows Black History Month which brings an opportunity to celebrate the contribution, achievements, and influence of Black people and those from historically underrepresented ethnic communities across the UK.

This will provide a secure environment for courageous, open dialogues regarding race as well as enable coaches to increase understanding and awareness around the topic.

Listening and communicating are the first steps on the path to becoming a better organisation and individual. Learners in attendance will be empowered to make a positive change to impact grassroots football within Surrey for the better.

Date: Monday 28th November 2022
Time: 18:30-20:30
