Sunflower Friendly

We are now a registered Sunflower-Friendly organisation

Surrey FA are helping to increase visibility of hidden disabilities within our workforce and the wider community.

We are pleased to announce that we are now officially registered as a Sunflower-friendly organisation and can be found on the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower map.

The Sunflower emblem is widely recognised to represent those who have non-visible disabilities, also referred to as hidden or invisible disabilities. This may include autism, speech impairments, sensory loss, chronic pain, respiratory conditions and more. People with these disabilities frequently experience obstacles in their everyday life, such as an absence of consideration, and as a result, Surrey FA is ensuring that these individuals are supported.

If you are a registered Coach, Referee or Volunteer within the Surrey FA workforce and have a hidden disability, we are providing Sunflower Lanyards and Embroidered Patches to let those around you know that you may require some assistance or extra consideration. Please complete the form below to request these items.
