Contrary to apparent local beliefs, Surrey County FA (SCFA) does not agree with and is not complicit in the sale of the Meadowbank freehold to Dorking Wanderers. SCFA was shocked at news of the potential purchase, is seeking clarification from and answers to many questions put to both Dorking Wanderers and Mole Valley District Council, and has instructed lawyers to act on SCFA's behalf, given the risk of many local groups being deprived of access to a range of football facilities.
