Surrey FA Women's Recreational Tournament

This was the first competitive tournament held by Surrey FA in 2022

On Sunday 9 January, Surrey FA ran a women’s recreational tournament at Woking Leisure Centre. There were 14 teams involved, with women of all ages, experience, and ability levels taking part.
The event was the first competitive tournament held by Surrey FA in 2022 and it didn’t disappoint! We saw some fantastic football being played across the all teams.

Congratulations to Cranleigh Women and Old Tiffinians who were the tournament winners on the day, overcoming runners up Reigate Women and West Woking Women in two gripping finals, to take home a trophy.

We were delighted to see a terrific turnout for the event, filled with laughter and friendly competition. As we look towards the women’s Euros in the summer, Surrey FA will be scheduling a collection of events focusing on women and girls’ football.
