We can today announce that Caroline McRoyall will be leaving her position as Chief Executive Officer of Surrey FA.

We can today announce that Caroline McRoyall will be leaving her position of Chief Executive Officer of Surrey FA.

Caroline has been CEO of Surrey FA since May 2014 and prior to this was County Development Manager for six and half years. During her tenure Caroline led the County to become the first to achieve the Equality Standard of Sport Intermediate Level and was instrumental in the relocation and build of the new office and facilities at Meadowbank Football Ground.

The Board of Trustees have decided to review the organisation and in discussions Caroline felt now was the right time to leave the organisation to pursue a new challenge.

Caroline McRoyall said, "Being the Chief Executive of Surrey FA has been an honour and an amazing experience, I am proud of the achievements of the County to date in particular how we have embedded equality across the organisation and the development of our new facility at Meadowbank Football Ground. I leave knowing the County is in a great place which has a great staff team totally dedicated to improving grassroots football”.

Caroline will leave the County on Thursday 21st February in order to allow the Board to start the restructure without delay.

“I had not planned to leave so quickly but this enables the Board to implement the changes immediately and will allow me to enjoy a period of relaxation and quality time with my family, which after the hectic time during the last few years, is much needed”.

Surrey FA Chairman, Les Pharo, added: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Caroline for leading the transformation and relocation of the Surrey FA to its new home at Meadowbank Football Ground. We are extremely grateful to Caroline for all she has achieved and she has left Surrey FA with very strong foundations for her successor”.
