Surrey FA moved into its new office on Tuesday 13th March, and very quickly became aware of issues which would prevent operating as planned.

“It is with great regret that we will have to postpone the Open Day organised with Dorking Wanderers on Monday 19th March, as well as postpone our first five County Cup Finals,” said Chief Executive Caroline McRoyall.

The five cup finals effected are as follows:

  • U18 Midweek Floodlit
  • U16 Youth
  • U16 and U15 Girls
  • U18 Youth

“These events are out of our control and we apologise for the inconvenience to everyone involved in football in Surrey,” continued Caroline. “We’re just as excited to get up and running as everyone else, and it’s frustrating to have to delay the start of our County Cups.”

Surrey FA will operate the office with a limited staff team in the interim but cannot allow any visitors to the office unless an appointment is made in advance.

Alternative arrangements for courses and events scheduled at Meadowbank and will be confirmed separately.

A further statement will be issued once the facility is fully operational.
