Emma manages the football development team on a day-to-day basis. Prior to joining the Surrey FA Emma worked at the London FA as a Women & Girls’ Football Development Officer for 7 years, and was also a Chelsea Ladies Centre of Excellence coach and worked within Chelsea's Football in the Community Scheme. She is a level 3 coach and is in the process of completing her Youth Module 3. Emma is a keen swimmer, cyclist and runner and up until last season was playing football for a local team which she had been doing for 20 (ish) years!

Steven is responsible for the development of football in the Surrey County Council Area’s of Guildford, Waverley, Woking & Surrey Heath. As part of his role Steven looks to promote the FA Charter Standard award whilst leading club, school and league development. Prior to joining the Surrey County FA, Steven worked as an Athletics Development Officer for UK Athletics. Steven is a fanatical Bolton Wanderers fan and is a seasoned skier.

Jon is responsible for the development of football in the Metropolitan Boroughs of Surrey and is also the county lead for Women and Girls development. As part of his role Jon will look to promote the Charter Standard programme whilst leading club, school and league development. Prior to joining the Surrey County FA, Jon worked as a community coach for Fulham Football Community Trust and spent a year coaching football on the Northern Beaches in Australia. Jon is a keen canoeist and instructor and can be seen regularly paddling the Thames when the sun is shining.

Laura's role is to design, develop and implement College based Football enrichment programmes to help tackle the drop off in 16 – 19 year old male and female players, while forging strong College to Club links in Surrey to support the development of players into community clubs. She will also train and develop football leaders as volunteers, coaches and officials through The FA’s ‘Football Futures’ programme to support the enrichment projects, club links and community programmes. Laura previously worked at Guildford College Group as a Student Liaison Officer and is also a keen sportswoman - particularly Football, Basketball & Tag Rugby.

Craig is the main point of contact at the County FA for all coaching enquiries. As part of Craig’s role, he organises and plans the whole Coach Education programme for the Surrey County FA, which includes the McDonalds courses and the stand-alone workshops. Craig also assists the Football Development Officers in running courses for Charter Standard Club renewals and works with the Surrey Coaches Association to deliver CPD events for coaches. Prior to joining the Surrey County FA, Craig worked as a Leisure Development Officer for Raynes Park Leisure. Craig is also a Level 2a referee and his favourite dish is Spaghetti Bolognese.

Alex is the Marketing and Communications Officer at Surrey County FA and is responsible for all media coming in and out of the organisation. Prior to joining the Surrey County FA, Alex was a football journalist for famed sports news agency Hayters, and his work has appeared in several national newspapers as well on Sky Sports News, TalkSport, ESPN and TheFA.com.

As County Welfare Officer, Frank acts as a conduit between the Surrey County Football Association and the FA Safeguarding Team at Wembley. He also supports Club and League Welfare Officers locally to provide effective safeguarding measures for children and young people throughout the County.
Referee Development Officer

Tim has been involved in many aspects of football for 40 years, playing at a local Intermediate level in Sussex and before taking up refereeing. Tim was a Level 3 referee for 10 years and acted as fourth official on many Premier League and Football League matches. He was fourth official on Mark Halsey’s first football league match at Brighton and came on after 30 minutes for the injured assistant referee. Tim is now a Level 4 Referee Tutor and has represented the FA at Regional and National Events.
