Facilities Duty Manager Vacancy - Casual

Surrey FA requires a committed, enthusiastic and flexible individual to support the team at Meadowbank Football Ground.

SURREY FA IS RECRUITING A FACILITIES DUTY MANAGER - casual

The post-holder will be responsible for providing support to the Facilities Team to ensure the effective running and support of Meadowbank Football Ground for the benefit of the community and Surrey FA programs. The successful applicant will need to provide a high level of customer service and administrative support.

They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all pitch and meeting room bookings, opening and / or closing of the facility, assisting and supervising customers using the facility, building partnerships with existing and new clients, undertaking basic cleaning as necessary in order to maintain a high level of standards and cleanliness, maintaining high standards of professional behaviour at all times, undertaking relevant training courses as requested by Surrey FA, and any other tasks deemed necessary by the Head of Operations.

The post will be for weekend work and the successful applicant should have experience using booking systems. They will have good IT skills and be confident in using Microsoft Office 365. Ideally, they should have an understanding of running and organising events and competitions and excellent communication skills, experience of working in sport and leisure industry or of operating facilities, a passion for sport and physical activity and be self-motivated, committed and reliable are other key attributes we are looking for.

Salary: £10 p/h

The post is part-time (continuation subject to performance) and is based at Meadowbank, Surrey FA’s Headquarters in Dorking.
