Affiliation Window Open

2021-22 Affiliation Window is Open

The affiliation window is now open for clubs in Surrey.

We are delighted to confirm that the affiliation window for the 2021-22 season is open.

On 27
th April, we announced a wide-ranging support package for the 2021-22 season. As part of this wider package, all Surrey FA affiliated clubs will receive free affiliation and County Cup Entry for the upcoming season at the end of a difficult twelve months for our clubs.

We are also pleased to confirm that there will be an insurance discount of 23% on offer for those who choose our recommended providers, Sportsguard.

Over the past year, we have been able to offer continued support to clubs, leagues, coaches, players, referees and volunteers through a series of online sessions with partners and special guests from the footballing world.

A number of funding opportunities have also been made available through a range of grants via organisations such as the Football Foundation, Sport England, the FA and Premier League as well as our Football Fix-Up project and Charter Standard Booster Pack.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our leagues for their co-operation and collaboration in working with us to ensure the safe return of grassroots football in Surrey. The support which these volunteer-run leagues have shown to their clubs has been crucial.

Details and documentation to complete the affiliation process can be found here.

How can we help you?

Surrey FA Benevolent Fund

With organisations and individuals facing great uncertainty and hardship at this time we would like to make you aware of the Surrey FA Benevolent Fund. The fund is designed to support players, official, referees and clubs suffering extreme difficulties with grants of between £250 to £500.

Where further support is needed, SFA can recommend applicants to The FA’s Benevolent fund. Since 2010 the fund has provided £24,975 in grants and this fund is now available to clubs that may find themselves in financial need due to circumstances outside their control.

We are looking to grow the fund so we can support more clubs and players. Donations can be made to the Surrey FA Benevolent Fund during the club affiliation process on Whole Game System or at any time by contacting finance@surreyfa.com.
