Safeguarding Poster Competition Launches

We are excited to launch our Safeguarding Poster Competition, giving young players the chance to take ownership of safeguarding at their club

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, which is why the safety and security of all children and young people involved in the game of football in Surrey is one of our top priorities.

Sometimes it can be difficult for children and young people to fully understand what ‘safeguarding’ actually means and how it relates to them. Overcoming these potential barriers is one of our key challenges and making sure we use their language is vital in promoting our message.

With this in mind, we have launched our Safeguarding Poster competition. The competition has been designed to give young players of all ages an opportunity to create safeguarding posters with messages and imagery which appeal to them and others around their age or needs.

1st prize - £25.00 Amazon gift card

2 additional prizes - £10.00 Amazon gift cards

The two-week-long competition will run until Tuesday 15th December with winners set to be announced later that week.

To help our young players get started with their creations, we have created a helpful Surrey FA branded poster template which can be downloaded here.

Entrants may find it helpful to take a look at the information, games and resources on our Kidzone webpage for inspiration!

Please send a scan or photo of the completed entries to Marketing@SurreyFA.com with the subject line of Safeguarding Poster Competition. Good luck!
