New CPD and First Aid in Sport Courses Added

Surrey FA are pleased to announce a new addition to their CPD programme- Managing Player Injury.

Surrey FA are pleased to announce a new addition to our CPD programme- Managing Player Injury. This event shall focus on elements of emergency first aid and injury knowledge that will help coaches support players with injuries. We will also be highlighting the importance of Cardiac health awareness as the FA have recently launched their new Sudden Cardiac Arrest module.

The event shall be led by tutors Gareth Workman and Paul Midwinter who have selected topics such as Basic Injury Recognition and Ligament Injuries among others to cover a variety of common injuries seen at training and at matches.

Whilst the CPD is not a certificated course- we have now added further Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football courses (this was formerly known as FA Emergency First Aid course) for those needing to gain or renew this qualification. Additionally, if you'd like to take your learning further, we are now offering the FA Level 2 in Emegrency First Aid course which covers a wider range of topics in greater detail. For information on either of these courses please visit the page below.
