Surrey FA is delighted to announce details of the first Adult Football Conference run by the county.
The aim of the Adult Football Conference is to explore a range of ways that we can work with clubs, leagues, players and coaches to Sustain, Develop and Grow the Adult 11v11 game.
The conference will explore three key areas, aimed at helping you get ahead of the game:
- Facilities & Funding
- Digital Technology in Football
- Football in Today’s World
Throughout the evening, there will be the opportunity for you to attend two workshops, which you will need to indicate on the booking form. The details for these sessions are below:
Digital Technology in Football
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive practical guidance on administration of their clubs and leagues. Support will be offered to assist with Whole Game System (WGS), Full-Time and player registration as well as having an opportunity to see new initiatives that will help future proof online administration support.
Please feel free to bring along your laptop and/or suitable device to receive direct support and guidance
Football Facilities and Funding Opportunities – where to start?
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive guidance on how their club or league can benefit from The FA and Football Foundations various different funding streams. There will be an opportunity to dispel some myths around grant funding and to provide guidance on what makes a successful funding application. We will also share some case studies of good practice from grassroots clubs locally in Surrey and across the Country.
Football in Today’s World
We will be looking at how football is responding to the changing player expectation and commitment, exploring how we encourage more young players into the open age football and the emerging development, as well as discussions on new formats, such as flexible football.
