Surrey FA were honoured to welcome delegates from The Korea Football Association to their Headquarters at Meadowbank today.

The visit was organised to inform the delegates on how grassroots football is managed and developed across the County and to provide an opportunity to see our State-Of-The-Art facilities.

Surrey FA outlined the key departments in a County FA and how they support football across the County. The delegates were extremely interested in Walking Football with a YouTube video being shown demonstrating how the game is played.   

Paul Dolan, Senior Regional Manager at The FA, presented The FA’s National Game Strategy 2018-2021 and outlined the relationship between County FA’s and The FA.

The focus of the day was The FA’s youth development review and implementation programme which was presented by Surrey FA CEO, Caroline McRoyall ahead of The Korea Football Association implementation of 8v8 football in youth football nationwide in 2019.
