Stuart Gray - Senior Coach
On the conclusion of a playing career that spanned over a decade, Stuart Gray moved into coaching with Southampton before moving to Wolverhampton Wanderers as reserve team coach.
When Glenn Hoddle was appointed manager of Tottenham Hotspur in March 2001, Gray initially took over as caretaker manager with the Saints, before taking on the role on a permanent basis in June.
Following his time at St. Mary’s he worked at Northampton Town, Burnley and most recently Sheffield Wednesday, where he was initially part of the coaching staff hired by his former Southampton colleague, Dave Jones.
When Jones departed Gray took over as a caretaker manager and then was named Head Coach permanently following a run of impressive results. In his one full season in charge at the club, he secured their highest finish for six years, finishing 13th in the Championship.
After a takeover at Wednesday, Gray was replaced by Carlos Carvalhal and joined Fulham on 8th December 2015. With the appointment of Slaviša Jokanović as Head Coach, Stuart remained and became Senior Head Coach of the First Team squad.
