FA Charter Standard Community Club Ashford Town are looking for players to join their new state-of-the-art Youth Development Centre, which will include sessions from UEFA-B qualified coaches.

The Centre will cater for youngsters from the Under-7 to Under-16 age groups and aims to recruit 100 players.

The Youth Development Centre will be lead by a head coach, with help from an assistant coach and a dedicated goal keeping coach (with both holding the Level-2 qualification or above in their respective disciplines).

Open trials are being held on October 6th, and successful applicants will receive 1.5 hours of coaching a week with matches played during the school holidays.

Sean Caldwell, the man behind the Youth Development Centre, believes this is a great chance to help promising young players fulfil their full potential. 

"The new Ashford Town YDC is a fantastic opportunity for talented players in the local area to further their development as footballers with the guidance of experienced and highly qualified coaches," he said.

"Training with the YDC will compliment a player’s current weekly playing and training schedule, and bring them on in a way that, we believe, will help them to progress further up the footballing ladder."
