Crystal Palace FC

The 2011/12 season has seen the Surrey County FA and Championship giants Crystal Palace FC join forces to form a solid partnership, rewarding players and clubs from grass roots football and helping to develop the beautiful game in the County.

Palace have shown a real commitment to our Charter Standard programme, which is a kitemark bestowed on clubs who are well-run, promote strong Safeguarding Children policies with all coaches having completed an FA CRB check, and who allow players of all ages to develop as they play the beautiful game.

Last year Raw Skills FC, Whyteleafe FC and Hamsey Rangers received their Charter Standard plaques on the pitch at Selhurst Park during half-time of some of the campaign’s most exciting matches, with each club receiving a certain amount of complimentary tickets as well as the option to purchase more tickets at a discounted price.

For everyone involved with the club, the chance to walk out onto the pitch in front of 10s of thousands of football fans is an incredible experience, especially at the home of a team with such a rich history and strong football values.

The Surrey County FA and Crystal Palace are already planning for the 2012/13 season, and are looking forward to rewarding even more clubs over the course of the footballing year.
