The Surrey FA are delighted that Premier League club Chelsea FC and Women’s Super League side Chelsea Ladies FC continue to be active supporters and drivers of community and grassroots football across Surrey.

Chelsea have worked alongside Surrey FA for an extensive period of time to provide exclusive deals, competitions and opportunities for Surrey based clubs and volunteers. Our Football Development Officers continue to work alongside Chelsea and The FA to provide and promote community schemes such as the England Disability Player Identification Day held in Surrey - part of the Surrey FA and Chelsea Foundation project.

STAMFORD BRIDGE STADIUM TOUR / MUSEUM


Clubs that are affiliated with the Surrey FA can take advantage of an exclusive 2-4-1 stadium tour offer at the historic Stamford Bridge. CHELSEA SOCCER SCHOOLS

Throughout the school holidays and during the season, Chelsea FC host numerous soccer schools across Surrey which are aimed at offering fun and educational sessions to improve skills and technique with official FA qualified coaches. The soccer schools involve taking part in small sided games and mini tournaments to encourage team play and improve players within the County.

PITCH & STADIUM PRESENTATIONS


As part of Chelsea’s continued support of grassroots football in the County, the club have provided pitch and stadium presentations to a selection of Surrey clubs that have attained Charter Standard status. Clubs that have been fortunate to have been selected for this incredible opportunity (amongst others) include Shelton Athletic FC, Wandgas FC and Woking Town FC.

CHELSEA LADIES FC


Chelsea Ladies Football Club was established in 1992, and has been affiliated with Chelsea Football Club since 2004. There rise has been meteoric with the 2015 season seeing the team become Champions of both the Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Cup (below)

The Women’s Super League season runs from March until October with the team also competing for European honours in the Continental Tyres Cup. Home games of the club are currently played at Wheatsheaf Park in Staines.
