The Surrey FA are a registered charity formed in 1882 with the aim of developing grassroots football in Surrey, covering an area of 15 boroughs and 1.1 million people. The map below illustrates the areas covered by our team.
We are one of the largest County FAs in England with over 4,000 teams and 1,000 referees. We also run hundreds of events each season from youth football to over 50’s football and from disability football to variations of the game such as futsal. Our dedicated team of 22 full time staff and over 70 volunteers are fully committed to providing opportunities for everyone to play the sport no matter their level or ability.
The Head Office of Surrey FA is located in St Martin’s Walk, Dorking (click here for details). It was however announced in September 2016 that work has commenced on the new Head Office of Surrey FA which is located on the new £5million develpment at Meadowbank, Dorking and that Surrey FA will move to premises in time for the 2017/18 season (click here for the press release).
The Reverend Clive Potter has been the Surrey FA Chaplin for over 10 years and is a point of contact for those in the Surrey football family that need support during difficult times. Please click here for Clive’s details and background in football.
Sky Sports Commentator and Surrey grassroots football fan, Martin Tyler, is an official Ambassador of Football for Surrey FA and commented:
"Although I have travelled the football world as a commentator, almost all of my hands on experience in the game has been in our County. I grew up in West Byfleet and went to senior school in Guildford. I watched my first football at Woking as a very young lad and have been a Cardinals fan since the 1950's. I also played for Corinthian Casuals in the Isthmian League, making my competitive debut in the Surrey Senior Cup at Carshalton. It is a great honour to be an official Ambassador for the Surrey FA and the football family. I hope I can encourage others in Surrey to take a similar path."
