Working in partnership with the Football Foundation, Sport England, Local Authorities and partner organisations. We aim to highlight the funding opportunities and grants available to football clubs and support with your application.

We can help you find and apply for the funding opportunities and grants to make your dreams a reality. Whether you are looking for some new equipment to boost training sessions, funding to start a new team or maybe enough money to turn a run-down changing facility into something your club can be proud of, we're here to help.

Alternative funding resources

Anything up to £25,000 funding for capital items, refurbishment and improvements.

Grants up to £10,000.

Crowdfunding grants of up to £10,000 to help support physical activity organisations to move forward with priority projects and running costs.

Funding between £300-£10,000 to for a total pot of £5m. Funding aimed at making organisations to work more collaboratively across their community in order to make the biggest possible impact.

- Successful applicants should help inactive people get active or less active people to get more active, particularly want projects which support people with less opportunity to be active.

- Projects should consider how they add value to their local community and work collaboratively with other groups to maximise the impact of the project.

Awards (or ‘pledges’) of up to £10,000 are possible.

All campaigns should be a celebration of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, providing information on how the place or space is going to provide a legacy and unite your community.

We anticipate the fund will remain open until December 2022. Applications can be made by not-for-profit organisations for the benefit of people and communities within England.

Another £20million of National Lottery be committed to help groups who through insight we can see being disproportionately affected by the pandemic, the target audiences are:

- Lower socio-economic groups
- Culturally diverse communities
- Disabled people
- People with long term health conditions

Surrey County Counsel is allocating £100m over five years to community projects that can garner support and improve their local area by meeting the needs of residents. This can include grassroot sport and activity idea.

Active Spaces will fund between £5000 and £50,000 for projects that will improve and activate spaces, places and facilities in London that will help the least active children, young people, marginalised groups, and communities to lead active and healthy lives.

National lottery are giving out small grants of up to £10,000 to anyone who can apply for funding to deliver a new or existing activity or to support your organisation to change and adapt to new and future challenges. 

In order to support communities, they fund projects and organisations which aim to:

- Build strong relationships across communities
- Improve the places and spaces which matter to communities
- Help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest stage possible
