Starting a New Club

The Surrey County FA are committed to supporting the growth of football across all ages, genders and abilities.

To assist new teams and clubs start-up, we have produced a guide to help you establish your teams and answer any queries you may have.

With clubs looking to purchase kit and equipment for the season, the Surrey County FA have undertaken some research into various suppliers and provided links and guideline prices in the document below.

Please note they are not recommendations and you may be able to source cheaper or more suitable products elsewhere.

One particular area where we are looking to develop new teams is in adult football, and we are offering a £300 bursary for clubs setting up new adult teams (see document below).

Adult 11-a-side Bursary - In a sustained bid to increase participation in adult 11v11 football, the Surrey County FA have launched a bursary scheme which can see new clubs awarded £300 to keep players in the game for longer. The grant will provide funding for teams to help support them make the transition into adult football or setting up a new side, as well as cover some costs for the upcoming season.
