Sport England Inspired Facilities Funding Open

Round 5 - 21st October - 16th December 2013

The scheme is designed to support voluntary and public sector groups to refurbish and improve existing facilities, or develop an existing building for sports use in the community.

Community organisations and parish & town councils are eligible for grants ranging from £20,000 to £50,000, and 70% of the overall funding will be allocated to this category. Local authorities, statutory bodies and educational institutions are eligible for grants ranging from £20,000 to £150,000. For more information, visit http://inspiredfacilities.sportengland.org/

JustGiving and Sport England

Sport England and JustGiving have announced a campaign to bring an extra £22million into grassroots sport over the next five years through a new partnership called JustGiving for Sports Clubs.

JustGiving for Sports Clubs will help sports club members to raise more money, and claim Gift Aid, using the same award-winning tools as the biggest charities in the UK. JustGiving have waived their subscription fees – worth £180 per year for every club - for all Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs), so clubs can sign up for free today. Sportivate Funding 

Sportivate is a new nationwide campaign that forms part of the Place People Play Olympic legacy programme by the Government and Sport England.

Sportivate sits within the Play strand and will directly contribute to the mass participation legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Sportivate will fund activity for 14-25 year olds to receive 6 weeks of high quality coaching in the sport of their choice and then be guided into regular participation within their local community.

Sportivate will commence from July 2011 and the program will run for four years until March 2015. Funding is being distributed through your local County Sports Partnerships.
