As per FA rules, all teams and leagues must affiliate with their local County FA in order to play competitive and recognised league football and County Cup matches. At Surrey FA we understand that if you are affiliating for the first time, or a club that is renewing its affiliation, the process can be confusing. With this in mind, we’ve put together a 13 page document which covers everything that you need to know about club affiliation. If you’re looking at setting up a new club, as opposed to simply renewing your affiliation, then the guide should be your first port of call as well.
Click on the image below to download, read and print the guide. If after reading the guide you still have questions then email the Surrey FA Affiliation team at Affiliation@SurreyFA.com and we will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
All club affiliations are processed online through the new Whole Game System portal (click here) using the Club Secretary’s FAN number and password. For fore more information on Whole Game System, how to log on and the relevant user guides please see The FA’s Whole Game System help page by clicking here. Alteratively click here to view the Surrey FA help page for first time users of the Whole Game System.
If you are a new club looking to affiliate please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details (name, address and date of birth) of your Secretary, Treasurer and Chairperson (plus Welfare Officer if required) and confirm whether you are an adult or youth club. Once you have been set up on Whole Game System, a member of the Football Services Team will be in touch to confirm your login details for the Whole Game System.
