The Judges are not only looking at the quality of the pitch, but also take in to consideration the Groundsman's knowledge, the resources available to him\her, how often the pitch is used and whether he is full or part time.
The winner of the County’s FA award will go through to the National Awards where independent judging will take place during March 2011.
All County winners are then invited to attend a National Ceremony in the summer where the winners are announced and receive their awards.
