The FA's Pitches & Facilities Committee are seeking nominations from County Associations for the National Groundsman of the year award within the category step 7 and below. (Local Authority pitches excluded as the groundsman are not a club representative).

Completed forms must be returned to Surrey FA by Friday 29th January 2010.
The Judges are not only looking at the quality of the pitch, but also take in to consideration the Groundsman's knowledge, the resources available to him\her, how often the pitch is used and whether he is full or part time.
The winner of the County’s FA award will go through to the National Awards where independent judging will take place during March 2010.
All County winners are then invited to attend a National Ceremony in the summer where the winners are announced and receive their awards.
