Charter Standard Award Winners

Charter Standard Awards 2008/09. Open only to Charter Standard clubs, these awards are designed to highlight the clubs that go the extra mile to assure that they are achieving the highest possible standard, both on and off the pitch.

Charter Standard Club - Carshalton Athletic Junior FC
• Work in Partnership with London Borough of Sutton.
• Run a Saturday Soccer school for boys, girls and Special needs Children.
• Operate 9 after school clubs with Sutton Schools Sports Partnership.
• Links with Sutton Mencap running once a week training sessions for adults with Learning difficulties.
• Run the Carshalton College Football team.
• Coach the London Youth Games team both boys and girls for the London Borough of Sutton.

Croydon Borough Girls - Charter Standard Development Club
• Provided a coaching opportunity for the local community for excess of 5 years.
• 7 teams affiliated to the County FA.
• Over 100 girls playing football weekly aged 7 – 16.
• New partnership with the SCFA to facilitate a disability football team of mixed gender.
• Each year the club recognise volunteer and coaches, referees at the clubs end of season presentation evening.

Badshot Lea - Charter Standard Community Club
• Club celebrated 100 years of football last season 2008/09.
• Over 20 teams aged from 6 – 18.
• Over 250 members who participate in regular football each week of the season.
• Including a special needs Football team who are linked with the club.

Dynamo Molesey - Charter Standard Adult Club
• 3 Adult teams affiliated to the County FA.
• Three level 1 coaches & two level 2 coaches.
• Club reward volunteers in the club each season.
• Club signed up to the full Respect Programme and fully support the aims.

Joe Brack - Woodcote OB - Club Administrator

Tim Pitt - Kew Park Rangers - Charter Standard Club Coach
• Aged 17 passed his FA Level 2 coaching badge.
• Coaches Kew Park Rangers team each week.
• Coaches with enthusiasm and delivers fun training sessions each week.
• His team reached the Final of a cup competition for the first time this season and have shown significant improvements due to Tim's coaching technique.
