The test comprised of a 12min run in which the candidate must run a minimum of 2500 metres and continue running for 12mins. After a break they then had to complete 2 x 50metre sprints in a time of 7.5 seconds.
The Football Association makes awards for referees who achieve 2900 Metres (Bronze), 3100 Metres (Silver) and 3300 Metres (Gold).
